(A) In accordance with SBL 312.B.1, the Chair may call a meeting of the Division as a whole. It must be called on petition of ten (10) percent of the Division. Emergency meetings of the Division may be called on twenty-four-hours' notice. Other Division meetings must be set for not less than fifteen (15) days of instruction after receipt of the properly executed request. The call for a meeting of the Division shall contain a statement of the purpose of the meeting and no action may be taken on a matter not described in the call without prior consent of four-fifths (4/5) of the Division present and voting. Any meeting of the Division shall be governed by Bylaws 160, 170 and 175. A meeting of the Division is empowered to enact Senate legislation. Twenty-five (25) percent of the members of the Division not on leave shall constitute a quorum for meetings of the Division.
(B) The numbers of members voting aye, nay, and abstain on any action taken by a meeting of the Division shall be recorded in the minutes. No voice vote may be taken.
(C) Any meeting of the Division shall be chaired by the Chair of the Division.
(D) A meeting of the Division is authorized to remove from office any Senate officer or committee member by a vote of two-thirds (2/3) of members present and voting.
