182: Selection of the Committee

(A) The Committee on Committees shall be elected annually in
March by the Division from a slate of at least two candidates nominated
by the Committee on Committees for each open position.
(B) The Committee on Committees shall circulate to all members
of the Irvine
Division
its slate of nominees for any vacancy on the Committee on Committees not
less than thirty (30) calendar days prior to the scheduled date of the
election. No current member of
the Committee may be nominated for a consecutive term.
(C) Additional nominations for the Committee on Committees
to represent a given Faculty of the Division can be made by a petition
signed by at least ten (10) members of that Faculty and submitted to the
Committee on Committees within ten (10) days of instruction after the
Committee on Committees announces the initial slate of nominees. Any such petition must be accompanied by a certification
of acceptance by the person thus nominated.
