26. Membership
(A) Ex-Officio Members (CC 15 May 06)
The Divisional Senate Assembly shall include the following ex officio members: The President of the University; the Chair and Chair Elect-Secretary of the Irvine Division, each of whom shall serve in the same capacity as an officer of the Divisional Senate Assembly; the chairs of the Councils on:
- Academic Personnel,
- Educational Policy,
- Faculty Welfare,
- Graduate Council,
- Planning and Budget,
- Research, Computing, and Library Resources,
- Student Experience;
the Chairs of the Faculties of the Division (IBL40)
the Divisional Delegates to the Assembly of the Academic Senate
(B) Elected MembersThe Divisional Senate Assembly shall also include the elected Representatives of the Faculties of the Division (IBL40).
(C) Limitations on Membership
No ex officio member of the Divisional Senate Assembly may serve concurrently as an elected member.
(D) Senate Members Unaffiliated with Academic Units
Senate members unaffiliated with academic units shall be represented by the Chair Elect-Secretary of the Irvine Division. (Am 7 May 98)
