Responsibilities:
(1) Assume the responsibilities enumerated in Senate Bylaw 330.
(2) Formulate for submission to the Divisional Senate Assembly rules and regulations governing graduate education and advise the Chancellor on all matters relating to graduate work on the Irvine campus.
(3) Maintain liaison with the University Coordinating Committee on Graduate Affairs.
Membership:
The Graduate Council shall consist of twelve members with no more than two and at least one member from each of the Faculties of the Division. The Dean of Graduate Studies shall be a member ex officio
